Question: A month ago, I started eating one granny smith apple and walnuts on an empty stomach for breakfast. I have had Candida for a very long time. I eat very healthy, but something was just not working. From this granny smith apple and walnuts, I have had tons and tons of detoxification daily. It’s been great to clean out my colon, but my question is: I have had rectal itching/vaginal itching during this time. Will malic acid from the apples cause die off of Candida? When yeast is dying off, will it cause those symptoms? Thanks
Malic acid is naturally found in many fruits and vegetables and provides the common sour or bitter taste. Malic acid stimulates the production of saliva which reduces the harmful bacteria in the mouth – this means malic acid can serve as an oral detox. Malic acid is also an effective chelator, which means it can bind to toxins accumulated in the liver. Malic acid also helps get rid of gallstones thereby supporting the liver. Apples especially green apples are the richest source of malic acid. You may experience a Herxheimer reaction AKA die-off. This is fairly common and occurs as bacteria and yeast die during treatment. Your symptoms may worsen or you may feel flu-like, tired, bloated, brain foggy, irritable. Detox symptoms are a good sign of shift in microbes in the body. A supplement like molybdenum should help, but if this happens, it is important to support liver detox pathways.
This means ensuring bowel regularity, moving your body, hydrating and incorporating nutrient dense foods. A diet rich in antioxidants helps protect from harmful oxidation and detoxification. A candida diet is low in carbohydrates, so good antioxidants include turmeric, green tea, leafy greens, cacao, nuts and seeds. Cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower and brussels sprouts are high in sulfur compounds that aid detoxification. Use systemic enzymes to break down and help clear out dead yeast cells more effectively. Take a high quality probiotic which is effective at colonizing your gut with good bacteria, reducing digestive symptoms and weakening Candida. Studies show probiotics can also decrease die-off symptoms and treat diarrhea. CanXida Restore has 6 highly researched probiotic strains and 7 digestive and systemic enzymes to improve gastrointestinal health. CanXida Rebuild contains key vitamins and minerals plus herbal medicines like slippery elm and glutamin acid to support your detox organs.
Question: Can Candida/Candidiasis cause vegetation [Candida] to affect the mitral valve? I’m sure it has mine but can’t get a diagnosis saying there is vegetation. My insurance has refused the tests that would show it. What should I be taking to eradicate it from the mitral valve? I already take 4 Remove a day & 3 Restore as well as other nutrients. This is the only thing that has even touched the Candidiasis I’ve had for years.
The endothelial lining of the heart and its valves are normally resistant to infection with bacteria and fungi. In most cases vegetation can establish after endocardial injury, and platelet formation which can become a point of adherance to circulating microorganisms in the blood. Bacteria or yeast usually grow and reproduce within the endothelial lining making it difficult for our immune system to control the infection. The management of infective endocarditis includes prompt diagnosis, treatment with antimicrobial therapy, and in some cases surgery. Antibiotic therapy for IE should be targeted to the organism isolated from blood cultures. Always talk to your health care provider for complete information about treatment and medication. Prescription antimicrobials should be effective against these pathogens however if you are still feeling symptoms after correctly following the treatment, you can still benefit from a gut-healing protocol which is crucial for fighting systemic infections.
This will also help prevent subsequent reinfections alongside good oral/ dental care which are as a common source of recurrent infections in patients with IE. Repopulating with beneficial bacteria will help displace the overgrowth of pathogens and prevent the overgrowth of pathogens while systemic enzymes also help destroy biofilms created when pathogenic organisms stick together which is usually the case in IE. If you are already taking Restore you can benefit from taking sacharomyces boulardii which is another probiotic organism with extensive evidence against Candida. Using natural antimicrobial therapy like Remove works alongside probiotics to help restrain the growth and spread of pathogenic colonies with biofilm busters like caprylic acid, berberine, oregano, etc. You can benefit from other biofilm disruptors such as NAC, which is effective against biofilms, and chronic respiratory infections, enzymes such as nattokinase(50 mg) and lumbrokinase (20 mg) have been used extensively as coatings on implants to fight biofilms.
Question: Are the antibodies in psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis the same only in one case they attack skin other joints. I have psoriatic arthritis and psoriasis of nails only no skin. I have very significant candida overgrowth including pathogens in stool test. Am treating with diet and supplements and hope that the candida issue as has happened with psoriasis may be the end to my joint pain
Psoriatic arthritis is a complex inflammatory condition with a wide range of clinical manifestations that can worsen psoriasis of the skin or nails in up to 30% of cases. There are no diagnostic testing for Psoriatic arthritis (antibodies are described in literature but not clinically tested). Psoriasis is diagnosed by inflammation in the joints in the presence of skin and/or nail psoriasis, and in the absence of rheumatoid factor and anti-citrullinated peptide (to discard rheumatoid arthirtis). Factors that may play a role in developing psoriatic arthritis include microbial infections. Non-pharmacological interventions such as low-impact exercise, physical therapy, massage, and acupuncture can be part of disease managament. Smoking cessation is strongly recommended. Balneotherapy in the Dead Sea area appears to reduce pain and sweeling in PsA joints.
Cardiovascular risk factors such as hypertension and hyperlipidemia, are higher in psoriatic arthritis, so lifestyle interventions are key to increase quality of life. This includes excercise, sleep quality, stress management and diet. Reducing inflammation in your body is key to getting relief from psoriatic arthritis, and diet plays an important role. Avoid inflammatory foods including gluten, dairy and all prcoessed foods and refined sugars.
Focus on antinflammatory foods like flaxseeds, wild fish, berries, vegetables and spices like turmeric. Another natural way to reduce inflammation is with the use of probiotics like CanXida Restore with beneficial bacteria that produce short-chain fatty acids which lower systemic inflammation. They have many other benefits like crowding out overgrown pathogens like Candida.
