Question: I have suffered with recurrent thrush for the last 11 years. I have gone to so many specialists, been put on long term fluconazole a number of times, used steroid creams, suppositories and nothing has seemed to work. My main concern is that I get recurrent fissures of my posterior fourchette every time I have sex with my partner and I can’t put up with it anymore. I was hoping to have some guidance about what to do/who I can speak to about my condition please ? I am following the Candida crush book religiously. Currently 3 months in to the Candida crusher diet and following the boric acid kill and yoghurt, whey liquid and probiotic powder build phase and taking the remove and restore tablets along with fish oil, multivitamin and a iron supplement. I have also stopped taking my contraceptive pill. I am currently feeling a lot better but still tearing every time, however, I am hopeful.
A common reason for posterior fourchette fissures is pelvic floor muscle tension known as vaginismus (it causes an innate fear of penetration which tenses the muscles). Posterior fourchette fissure may also happen because of infections or skin conditions including: vulvovaginitis from thrush (candida albicans), bacterial vagninosis, genital herpes, vaginal atrophy and contact dermatitis (caused by allergy or irritants). Sexual intercourse without lubrication is one of the most common causes of vulval fissures. Vaginal dryness is common with loss of estrogen in women who are entering menopause. Try using a water-based lubricant and changing your sexual positions (you control the movements). You may also need to start doing pelvic floor stretches which lower pelvic floor tension. Use vaginal moisturizers to lubricate and calm the skin, estrogen cream to treat hormone deficiency, take warm sitz baths, consider vaginal dilators to encourage the skin to stretch and apply topical anesthetic cream (lignocaine jelly) when you’re in pain. Don’t use soap, spermicides, scratchy panties or perfumed products in this delicate area. Topical estrogen is an effective treatment since it also stimulates the proliferation of lactobacillus, reduces vaginal pH, and avoids vaginal colonization of E. Coli and yeast. Topical estrogen has proven to reduce the incidence of Candida in women. Vaginal estrogens also have less side effects than oral estrogens. Other useful treatments include probiotics. Probiotics are helpfull to restore normal flora and they are an effective strategy to decrease infections. You can use vaginal probiotic suppositories if you are having an active infection and use a high quality oral probiotic to prevent further infections. I recommend CanXida Restore which has 6 natural probiotic strains that include beneficial lactobacillus species proven to prevent yeast overgrowth.
Question: I just finish taken a strong parasite cleanse for 3 months. My question is should I wait a while before ordering the Combo Kit since the other parasite cleanse was so potent (strong)? I can feel the parasites in my head and other parts of my body. Is there something I can do while waiting on the Combo Kit?
It is recommended that you follow an antimicrobial protocol designed to reduce numbers of unwanted microbes in your gut for around six to ten weeks. Most people see definite improvements in their symptoms however, some people may need longer on a protocol, or to try a different kind of approach. Some parasites require conventional anti-parasitic medication from your doctor like Giardia, so it is essential to take a comprehensive stool test to know which parasites you are dealing with. You should always work with a naturopath or health care provider when doing a parasite cleanse because medications and supplements that kill parasites are very powerful and taking them for too long can be just as harmful to your gut health as conventional antibiotics. There are also specific supplements that support your gut health throughout and after an antimicrobial protocol. Most parasite cleanses involve taking herbal supplements, which are natural and have less side effects. Artemisia, oregano, black walnut and berberine are effective in treating worm infections. CanXida Remove has 12 antimicrobials to ensure potency and broad spectrum action. Additionaly taking a high qulity probiotic like Restore (1 or 2 capsules daily) will help repopulate the gut with microbes that support a good gut environment and crowd out harmful pathogens. While waiting for the Combo Kit you can try Wormwood (200 milligrams 3x daily) which is known for its anti-parasitic properties. Eating papaya seeds is also shown to help eliminate parasites. some other top anti-parasite foods include pumkin seeds, garlic and onions, herbs, like oregano and ginger, and apple cide vinegar.
Question: I continue to have a recurring infection in my mouth. Tests have been inconclusive yet all symptoms point to Oral Thrush. I’ve been following your diet and using the supplements since I think July of 2021. any time I try to introduce fruit or anything else my mouth flares up. Is the treatment for oral thrush the same as other yeast infections. I’m at a loss and have been dealing with this for 2 years or more (serious symptoms that is). I’d like to one day be free of the supplements or at least reduce.
In addition to a low-sugar anti-inflammatory anti-Candida diet plan, you can make an antifungal mouthwash from essential oils that will both kill the Candida yeast and freshen your breath. A therapy known as oil pulling is also an effective way to eliminate yeast from your mouth and remove the toxic byproducts of Candida. Candida albicans, which causes intestinal overgrowth, can also give rise to oral thrush. Smoking, dentures, antibiotics, a high sugar diet, and some medications can cause oral candidiasis, so first try eliminating the risk factors. Cutting out sugary foods can help to prevent Candida outbreaks, both in your mouth and elsewhere. Probiotics in CanXida Restore can help to rebalance the bacteria in your gut, and support your immune system in your mouth too. Digestive and systemic enzymes and antifungals like caprylic acid in Remove help get rid of biofilms that can also establish in the mouth creating more persistent candidiasis. Your doctor may prescribe medication for oral trush however herbal antifungals have less side effects. Essential oils can help with oral candidiasis. Try adding 2-3 drops of peppermint or spearmint essential oil to water and use it as a mouthwash to kill the Candida in your mouth and freshen your breath. You can also use tea tree oil and neem oil. Swish the mixture in your mouth and always spit it out. Use them several times a day. Oil pulling is also another option for oral trush. Try using coconut oil or olive oil which are two oils with strong antifungal properties. Do it after brushing your teeth on an empty stomach for at least 5-10 minutes and never swallow it. If you have oral trush, most likely you have intestinal candidiasis as well. The most effective treatment includes a combination of low-sugar diet, probiotics, and antifungals.
