We received a question about the efficacy of neem in combatting Candida. Neem is incredibly effective, yet it’s infrequently included in yeast infection formulas. It’s unclear why, as many might underestimate its potency in targeting Candida. Notably, research from 1987 by renowned scientists discovered its effectiveness against 14 different yeast types. While Candida was affected to a lesser degree, a 2011 study further confirmed neem’s potency.
To provide more context, several fungi are highly sensitive to neem, including Trichophyton, epidermophyton, geotrichum, and microsporum, among others. This 2011 study identified numerous Candida species that were eliminated by neem. Historically, neem has been utilized for millennia in India as an anti-parasite, antibacterial, and cleansing herb. Every component of the tree has been employed by locals to deter pests from invading their systems. Its efficacy is well-documented and powerful.
In our book, “Candida Crusher,” a 4:1 neem extract is incorporated into the CanXida Remove formulation. It is rarely observed in typical Candida formulations despite its excellent antifungal properties against a broad spectrum of Candida, aspergillus, and microsporum yeast species. In the west, it’s also recognized as an insect repellent. Neem is safe for consumption and hasn’t shown any toxicity towards humans or pets. It even serves as flea control for animals. Emulsified neem oil, available at reputable health stores, is effective against lice, fleas, and various pests. It’s ideal for shielding fruits and vegetables from bugs. An enriched extract is incredibly beneficial in products that combat fungi, bacteria, and parasites. That’s why we’ve integrated it into the CanXida Remove product. Overall, neem is an excellent complement to other herbal anti-fungals.
